Our Services

Carpet Cleaning

BEFORE your carpet is being cleaned, please arrange for your children or pets to be away from the cleaning area. AFTER your carpet has been cleaned, please leave blocks or tabs under your furniture for 24 hours.

  • 1

    Pre-Inspection

Every great carpet cleaning starts with a proper pre-inspection. Our service technician will inspect your particular areas of concern, as well as noting carpet construction and soiling conditions.

  • 2

    Moving Furniture

Sofas, chairs and tables will be carefully moved. Larger pieces such as; beds, dressers, entertainment centers, china cabinets and other liability prone items are left in place. Carpet cleaned under furniture will be protected with disposable blocks and tabs.

  • 3

    Pre-Condition & Pre-Spot

High traffic areas and spots are pre-treated for more effective soil and spot removal.

  • 4

    Pre-Groom

Your carpet will be pre-groomed with a carpet groomer to further loosen traffic area soiling.

  • 5

    Extract & Rinse

Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction process (steam cleaning) will thoroughly rinse the carpet pile. Pressure and heat are regulated depending on your carpet type and fiber. We rinse with specially treated water at temperatures ranging between 110-235 degrees depending on the fiber content and soiling condition. This step also improves your air quality by removing the pollens, pollutants, and dust mites from the carpet.

  • 6

    Neutralize

Every carpet that we clean is rinsed with a PH balanced solution so that there is never a sticky residue left behind. (This is a very important step that is often overlooked by some cleaners.)

  • 7

    Post Spot Treatment

If any spots are not removed during the deep cleaning process, specialty-spotting techniques will be used.

  • 8

    3M Carpet Protector

Optional but recommended. Carpets protected with Maxim Advanced or DuPont's Teflon last longer, clean up easier and stay clean longer. The carpet pile is set in the up position for faster drying and a better visual appeal when Maxim Advanced or DuPont's Teflon has been applied.

  • 9

    Post Inspection

Our technician will perform a final walk through with you using the plastic booties we provide to inspect our work.

Upholstery Cleaning

  • 1

    Pre-Inspection

We will perform special tests to determine the content of your fabric. The content will determine what type of cleaning solutions and techniques will be used. We will also point out any potential permanent stains or areas of concern.

  • 2

    Area Preparation

We will prepare the area where the upholstery will be cleaned to protect your surrounding furnishings.

  • 3

    Pre-Vacuum

All textiles should be vacuumed thoroughly before cleaning. This step will remove dry soils and any loose particles from the cracks and crevices.

  • 4

    Pre-Treat

Depending on your fabric, a special solution designed for your fabric type and the soiling condition will be applied to “emulsify” the soil.

  • 5

    Pre-Spot

Any potentially difficult spots will be pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal.

  • 6

    Pre-Groom

The fabric will then be gently groomed using soft upholstery brushes to loosen the soil.

  • 7

    Soil Extraction & Rinse

The soil is then extracted from the fabric with a gentle, controlled rinse.

  • 8

    Neutralize

The fabric is then pH balanced to maintain its soft, fresh feel.

  • 9

    Post Spot

Any remaining spots will be treated with special stain removal products. For longer fabric life and fewer permanent stains, we recommend having Fabric Protector applied.

  • 10

    Post Groom

The upholstery will then be prepared for drying with a gentle combing of the fabric.

  • 11

    Speed Dry

High velocity air movers will be placed on the upholstery to speed dry the fabric.

  • 12

    Post Cleaning Inspection

Our technician will review the cleaning results with you to insure that your expectations have been met or exceeded.

Area Rug Cleaning

  • 1

    Pre-Inspection & Pick Up

We will determine as much as we possibly can about the type of rug and inherent qualities that may affect the cleaning process. We will outline the expected results and proper cleaning procedure. Our company will come to your home to pick up your rug(s).

  • 2

    Dry Soil Removal

Woven rugs, especially hand knotted rugs are designed to hide dry soil. A few years ago, the Eureka company did a study and found that a 9 x 12 could hide 87 pounds of dirt! WOW! We use a variety of techniques to “dust” the rugs from the front and back. A machine called a pile lifter, special vacuum attachments and any many other methods are implemented. This is the most important step in cleaning any textile.

  • 3

    Pre-Condition

Depending on the fiber content and soiling type, the rug will be pre-treated to emulsify the soils.

  • 4

    Pre-Spot & Fringe Treatment

Any potentially difficult spots will be pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal. The fringe is also pre-treated for maximum soil removal.

  • 5

    Shampoo

Most rugs are cleaned with an Oriental Rug Shampoo that is specifically designed to get maximum cleaning results while protecting sensitive natural fibers.

  • 6

    Rinse or Wash

Depending on the type of rug, it will be rinsed with extraction equipment on both sides or washed in a wash pit specially designed for oriental rugs.

  • 7

    Speed Dry

Once the soil is rinsed away, the rug is dried flat or hung to dry in a controlled environment. Proper drying is essential to avoid unnatural shrinkage.

  • 8

    Finishing

When the rug is dry, it is combed and finished with soft groomers made for specialty rugs.

  • 9

    Post Inspection & Delivery

Our cleaning specialist will give the rug a final inspection and release it for delivery. Your rug will be wrapped in brown craft paper to protect it from dust and environmental soils until it is delivered. Upon delivery, we will lay the rug for you.

Scotchgard Protection

A nylon stain-resistant carpet is made with two protective properties: The first is an acid dye blocker that is basically a clear dye that fills the extra dye sites in a fiber. This helps to keep "foreign" dyes (such as red dye in a beverage) from penetrating the carpet fiber. The second property is called a "fluorochemical". It is commonly known as 3M Scotchgard® or DuPont Teflon®. This treatment helps keep spillage from actually getting to the acid dye blocker, but its biggest job is to resist dry soil.

By resisting dry soil, less soil bonds to the carpet so it can be picked up by your vacuum or when cleaning. Making sure that you have a sufficient amount of protector on your carpet will help keep the soil from bonding to the carpet. Once it bonds to the carpet, it acts like sandpaper on your traffic area. Once the traffic area yarns are broken down, there is no way to bring them back to their original state.

Two primary ways that the factory protector is removed from your carpet would be high foot traffic and the use of high alkaline cleaners with harsh chemicals that strip away the carpet's protection.
We follow manufacturer recommended application rates exactly as specified. The carpet is groomed with a professional grooming tool to ensure proper product distribution and to leave your carpet looking great. Finally, we provide you with a Certificate of Application that you can keep for your records so you are complying with the provisions of the manufacturer’s warranty.
Fabrics and Furniture are as equally important, which is we also offer Fine Fabric Protectors. After the fabric has been cleaned, it will need to be immediately protected. The appropriate protector will be applied upon request to protect against spillage and excessive soiling.
